I’m Keri Durkin, hence the name Kay Dee Photography as a play-off of my initials.
My photography journey, like so many others, started out as a hobby. I got my first camera back in 2016 which started this crazy and amazing journey that I’m on!
My photography journey started back in 2016 while I was also putting myself through nursing school. It’s been so amazing to be on this journey of mine! What started out as a creative outlet of mine has grown into a passion and my business baby!
I’ve invested in myself and my business by attending online workshops, mentorships, and even in-person workshops from some world renowned photographers.
Two years ago I entered a difficult season of change, and my photography is what kept me going even on the hardest days. It also helped me to dig into my why and my purpose. My WHY is YOU. I want to show off your current season, even if it’s a tough one! You deserve to show up, you deserve to be present with your littles, you deserve to feel beautiful and confident in your own skin and be wildly in love with your people!!
